Quickdraws - Climbing Gear

A climbing quickdraw consists of two karabiners connected by a pre-sewn loop of webbing. This webbing can be of any length, but is usually 5" to 12" in length. Quickdraws are sometimes assembled using two karabiners and a sling too. A quickdraw's purpose is to be used by rock climbers to attach their climbing rope to bolt anchors or other protection whilst lead climbing.

 

QuickSeal closure - Ortlieb Outdoor Gear

The Quick Seal Closure consists of two elastic plastic profiles which are pressed together or opened by a slider. This system is when it is used in combination with a roll closure is waterproof in a floating condition, and can be seen in rucksack liners and other sorts of Ortlieb bags.

Users might decide to occasionally lubricate the sealing closure with silicon grease providing optimal functioning. Also make sure you remove dust and dirt with warm water.
