X-bungee - Rucksacks
The x-bungee is simply
a hard-wearing elasticated string crossed over in an x-shape
(which is sometimes repeated). This is often seen on the front
of backpacks for convenient storage of a hat, gloves or map.

X-Frame Suspension -
The North Face Lightweight carbon frame suspension mirrors the
rotational movement of the body as it moves - allowing the user
to carry heavy loads in their rucksack in harmony with their body.

X-Frame II Suspension
- The North Face backpacks
Founded on the geometry
of the original 'X-Frame' used in some of The North Face's rucksacks,
two lightweight carbon fiber stays (40% lighter and less susceptible
to breakdown than aluminum) provide structure and load support
to comfortably carry heavy loads. Stays are contoured to trace
the shape of the back and direct loads to the hipbelt.
