Lightwave

One of the latest, and in our view greatest, brands to market is Lightwave. Founded in 2002 by Carol McDermott a native of New Zealand but a resident of Britain and France. Carol is a well known for climbing mountains across the world with ascents including Shivling, Gasherbrum II, Ama Dablam (solo) and Mount Cook (a dozen times) as well as some epic, unsupported treks in the Karakorum. Lightwave aims for all of it's tents to be functional, durable, high quality gear with the best design to suit real outdoor enthusiasts like you and me. The designs of Lightwave tents are created around function and not fashion, so you won't find lots of clutter like those in feature-driven products but you will find amazing functionality.
