This is a Protection Level 3 product and is designed for use in sub-zero climates on challenging, rugged terrain. These mountaineering socks provides the most protection available (beyond what any other sock can provide today) and may require a 1/2 size larger boot. Heavyweight padding in the ball and heel protects foot from shear, impact forces and helps to prevent blisters.
Wool THORoLON lace pad protects the top of foot and leg against boot lace pressure.
Spandex and padding in the arch for added comfort and better fit.
Full padding around the toe is 100% worsted wool to provide maximum protection and warmth.
