Using your smart phone and a Social Hiking account you can chart your route on a map as you go, and if you tweet or upload a photo or video, this is also recorded on the map too. The North Face Mens Decagon Jacket

Mens Decagon in black

Update : We no longer stock the Decagon Jacket. Our closest match is the The North Face Plasma Thermoball Jacket and Women’s Inlux Jacket, which are also insulated, waterproof jackets.

The Decagon Jacket is a hooded, waterproof jacket. Whilst it is primarily aimed at the skiing and snow boarding market, the Decagon is highly suitable for general outdoor wear too. It has a fashionable urban design and would look great on the street as well as on the slopes! Made from fully seam sealed HyVent 2 fabric, it is waterproof and breathable. As you would expect from The North Face, the Decagon has an array of features that make it both practical and comfortable.

Update: We no longer stock the Arctic Parka and instead recommend The North Face Suzanne Tri Climate Jacket, the Jack Wolfskin Nova Scotia Jacket or the Didricksons Women’s Angelina Parka.

As with many The North Face Jackets, the Arctic Parka is a best seller, normally selling out within days of arrival at our shop. To find out why the Ladies Arctic Parka is such a huge seller we asked Sarah to take it for a test, just as she did with the North Face Womens Resolve Jacket a few weeks ago.

The North Face are famous for quality and style, whether it’s a duffle bag or a waterproof jacket, the North Face can always be counted upon to be awesome. Today we are taking a look at one of the best sellers in our range, The North Face Womens Resolve Waterproof Jacket .

This review is written by my partner Sarah, who did a field test for this review.

Update: We are not currently selling the Altas jacket, instead we have The North Face Zenith Triclimate Jacket, which is similar.

The North Face brand is one which is known for producing supremely high quality and innovative products. Today we are taking a look at a waterproof jacket which has been part of their collection for a few years, the Atlas Triclimate Jacket.

The Atlas Triclimate Jacket claims to be a versatile 3-in-1 jacket providing optimal cold and wet weather protection. So as part of this review we’ll be examining just how versatile this jacket is and whether it really does offer such great protection as it claims, we’re not sceptics but we like quality to be proven.

Update: We no longer stock the Vaude Taurus 1 or its successor the Taurus 2P tent. Instead we recommend The North Face Talus 2 EU tent, which has similiar specifications.

Vaude is synonymous with quality products and the Taurus range of tents are one of their leading product brands. Hard wearing with a solid Curved “A” Reinforced Ridge construction, the Taurus 1 has been designed as a backpacking tent. Weighing in at a little under 2.5 kg the Taurus 1 can be used in four season environments if the camper is experienced enough. Despite being called the Taurus 1, it is a 2 man tent.

Update: We are not currently stocking the Carbonlite and instead recommend the LEKI Albula Lite Antishock walking pole which also features the ergonomic Aergon handgrip.

LEKI is one of the premier brands when it comes to hiking & walking poles, their name is synonymous with building high quality products using the most technologically advanced materials available.

The LEKI Carbonlite Walking Pole is a particular favourite of many customers, combining material strength and lightness (approx 190g per pole) in a package which was awarded by Outdoor Magazine with their 2009 “Gear of the Year” award.

The North Face Tadpole Tent series has been on our shelves since 1987, and has spawned many copies and imitators. The Tadpole’s design has been so successful The North Face have used it as a starting point for the Meso, Mica, Big Fat Frog and Rock series. It is no surprise, that twenty five years after the original Tadpole, The North Face have released a number of updated versions, including the Tadpole 2 and Tadpole 2 DL series. Update: We are not currently selling the TNF Tadope and instead recommend the Ion 2 from Force Ten.
